James W. Underwood

Funeral services for James Underwood, 80 of Kissee Mills, will be Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.  Mr. Underwood passed away October 27, 2019 at Cox Medical Center, Branson

James W. Underwood was born on October 15, 1939 in St. Joseph, Missouri.  He was the son of Ace & Ethel (Forssinger) Underwood.  Jim married Marie Davis on September 6, 1958 in St. Joseph.  He worked in transportation driving a truck coast-to-coast.  Jim and Marie moved to Taney County from Lake Butler, Florida.  Jim enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and hunt. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Marie.

James is survived by his son, Larry Underwood and wife Linda of Kissee Mills; grandchildren, Jay Underwood, Tashula Underwood and Tommy Hughes along with five great grandchildren.
