Jacob G. Becker III, passed away April 15, 2019 at Cox South, Springfield, Mo. Services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hollister Church of Christ. Cremation was under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
Jacob George Becker III was born Oct. 5, 1950 in Lake Charles, LA. He was the son of Jacob G. Becker II and Wanda Maxine (Radloff) Becker. Jacob had served his country during the Vietnam war in the United States Army. He was a finisher for a manufacturing company, worked for the United States Postal Department, did maintenance in Colorado and worked at an amusement park. He moved from Lees’ Summit, Mo. to Branson to be close to family and fishing. Jacob enjoyed fishing, watching Sci-Fi on TV, and the National Geographic’s Channel about nature and history. He attended Church of Christ, Hollister. Jacob loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Jacob Becker IV, a brother Paul Becker and a sister Wilma Becker Strong.
Jacob Becker III is survived by his son Jesse Becker of Independence, Mo.; a brother Larry Becker and wife Carol of Sedgwick, KS; three sisters Diane Gann and husband Delbert of Hot Springs Village, Ark; Mary Wilson and Betty Simmons both of Branson and one granddaughter.
