Herman Leon Worsley was born on August 28, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of William Henry Worsley and Zella (Lemons) Worsley. He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. Herman owned and operated an auto parts store for many years. On May 3, 1986 he married his sweetheart, Edna in Matawan United Methodist Church in New Jersey. They later moved to Blue Eye from Old Bridge, New Jersey. Herman worked on the Showboat Branson Belle and was also a member of Blue Eye United Methodist Church.
He entered into rest on Monday, June 10, 2019 at his home in Blue Eye at the age of 81.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lyle.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Worsley of Blue Eye; children, Herman Worsley, Jr. of Long Branch, NJ, Lyle Worsley of Brick, NJ, Patricia Worsley of North Carolina, Judy Spibetti of Keyport, NJ, Michael McGurirk of Arlington, VA and Lilyan Borrelli of Clifton, NJ along with six grandchildren and one great grandson.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
