Helen Robinson Obituary

Services for Helen Robinson 99, of Branson will be private. She passed away Wednesday January 15, 2020 in Nixa.

Helen was born on February 8, 1920 in Moore, Missouri to James and Hunzie (Williams) Borne.  She married Charles Theodore (Ted) Robinson, and they moved to Branson in the late 1930’s.  They were blessed with three children.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Branson.  She spent her time taking care of the home and her family, this included her grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly called her Tootsie.  She loved to sew and cook, she was very happy to be able to sew costumes for her grandchildren who were the Burdette Family Dancers.  She lived at Branson Manor for over 30 years and in 2014 she moved to Eldon so she could be close to her great great grandchildren.  Two months ago she moved into assisted living in Nixa where she made many new friends and got to spend time with her grandchildren in the Springfield area.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Ted; son, Tom Robinson; stepson, Dutch Robinson; daughter, Helen Burdette; stepdaughter, Charlotte Robinson; sister, Dorothy Steers; and grandson, Rex Dale Burdette.
