Gerald Glen “Jerry” Curtin, 68 of Kirbyville, was born on May 2, 1950 in Glendale, California. He was the son of John Dennis “Jack” Curtin and Mary Evelyn (Halter) Curtin. Jerry entered into rest on October 17, 2018 at the age of 68 years.
In August of 1969, Jerry entered the United States Navy and served on the USS Goldsborough during the Vietnam War. After completing his military service, he worked in the screen printing business for 20 years. His latest employment found him managing the Dicken’s Gift Shop and a local craft mall. After his retirement Jerry started an outdoor yard décor business that he had set up in various booths in Branson.
Jerry married his loving wife Melinda on March 21, 1981. When he wasn’t working or spending time with family, Jerry enjoyed playing the bass guitar and harmonica.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Curtin; his wife, Melinda Groves Curtin and one brother, John Curtin.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Tracy Clark and husband Craig and Jennifer Widner; his father Jack Curtin; sister Nancy Ryan along with four grandchildren. He will also be missed by numerous family and friends.
