Frances Joan Burge

Frances Joan Burge was born on February 10, 1933 in New Canton, Illinois.  She was the daughter of Vernon & Lula (Evans) Bolin.  She resided in Dallas, Texas before moving to Branson.  Joan had been a bank employee and later worked at a law firm in Branson.  She attended Faith Lutheran Church in Branson.  Joan was also a volunteer at Skaggs Hospital.  In her free time, she enjoyed cross stitch and spending time with her dear cat.

Joan passed away February 6, 2018 at Shepherd of the Hills Living Center at the age of 84.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one half-brother, Russell Palmer.

She is survived by her sister, Clarann Harrison and husband Thomas of Branson along with many friends.

Memorials may be made in Joan’s honor to Tri-Lakes Humane Society, 102 Washboard Hollow Rd, Reeds Spring, MO 65737.

Burial will be in Samuel Taylor Cemetery in Rockport, Illinois.  Cremation arrangements were by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson.
