Ethel Frost

 Ethel LaVern Boegler Frost was born April 20, 1922 in Hurdsfield, North Dakota.  She was the daughter of Roy Edward and Bessie (Peak) Boegler. She was united in marriage to Clark E. “Jack” Frost on June 6, 1943.  To this union they were blessed with four children. Ethel and Jack had celebrated sixty years together before Jack’s passing in 2003.

Ethel and Jack moved to Branson from South Gate, Calif. in 1972. They owned and operated Country Side Gifts in Branson.  She served as a longtime volunteer for Skaggs Hospital. Ethel attended Branson Bible Church. She enjoyed sewing, camping and her family.

Ethel passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Shepherd of the Hills Living Center in Branson at the age of 95.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clark “Jack” Frost, a son Larry Frost and a brother Kensal Boegler.

Ethel is survived by her son Daryl Frost (Nancy) of Round Lake, Ill.; two daughters Sheri Smith (Mike) of Branson; Doreen Mills (Kevin) of Wylie, TX; three grandchildren Jennifer, Amanda and Josh; four great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

Memorials in memory of Ethel Frost may be made to the donor’s choice.
