Elner Elnora Gross

Funeral services for Elner E. Gross, 79, of Ridgedale will be held Saturday, November 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Valley Church, in Hollister, MO with Reverend, Mark Harwell officiating.  Burial will follow at Cedar Valley Cemetery, in Hollister, MO. Visitation will be held Friday 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, in Branson.

Elner Elnora Gross was born on January 8, 1939 in Omaha, Arkansas.  She was the daughter of James & Vina Marie (Jones) Rector. She married Robert Gross on June 20, 1953 in Omaha when she was 14 and kids came along 16 years later. She and Robert lived and raised their family in Taney County. She retired from Rosebud Inn in Branson. She was wonderful homemaker, and a fantastic cook. She also enjoyed fishing and going to the casinos. 

Elner passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in her home with her children and sister at her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vina Rector, her husband Robert Gross and her brother Harvey Rector.

She is survived by her children, Gary Gross and wife Genie of Harrison, Shiela Brown of Ridgedale, Kenneth Gross of Branson and Robert Gross of Ridgedale; her sister Sue Groves and husband Dale of Republic; eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Gabriel, Charity, Syler, Mikey, Kyle, Matt and Danny and twelve great grandchildren.
