Edward "Chipper" Lancos Obituary

Edward Michael “Chipper” Lancos, 65, of Springfield entered into rest on Monday, May 14, 2018 at his home.

Edward was born on September 8, 1952 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.  He was the son of Edward P. Lancos and Barbara Ann Lancos.  He grew up in Aliquippa and graduated from Hopewell High School there.  He later served in the United States Marines.  Edward married Brenda Large in Miami, Oklahoma.  They lived in Branson until the last two years.

Edward loved music and playing the bass and drums.  He worked in the timeshare industry and loved working in the sales industry and was the best at it.  He was a diehard Pittsburg Steelers fan and they were his favorite team.  Edward was part of the congregation at Jesus Was Homeless.

Edward was loved by all.  He valued and loved his friends and family very deeply. Anyone that knew Chipper knew that his love for his children and grandchildren was very strong, they meant everything to him, an unbreakable bond that he took great pride in it.  He knew very well and loved our Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart.  He was an amazing man with the most kindest heart, smart and funny.  We were blessed to have loved him and been loved by him.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lancos; his children, Christopher David Lancos and Amber Dawn Massimiano; brother, Jeff Lancos and wife Vicki and sister, Mary Beth Setkovich; and five grandchildren, Aiden, Devon, Joshua, Cameron and Draven.
