Ebb Johnson

Ebb Johnson was born April 6th, 1931 and went to be with Jesus on November 21st 2018 after a long illness. Memorial services will be conducted by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory at Branson First Assembly of God, 399 State Hwy T (just off E 76) Branson, MO on Tuesday, December 18th at 2:00PM.

He was preceded to Glory by his parents, Jeff Rex and Arvilla Cary Johnson, a brother, Dallas Johnson and many loved ones he held dear.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Macie Elizabeth “Betty” Pinkley Johnson, one daughter, Elfrieda Jeanette “Jeannie” Johnson Peninger, grandson, Blake & wife StefAnie Perkins and  son Noah, granddaughter Summer & husband Aaron Campbell and children Aidan, Macie and one on the way, grandson Kyle and his daughter Kylie, brother Willard Johnson, sisters Betty Jo Ward, Shirley Wilkie, and Janet McCreary, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are many special relatives on his wife's side who he loved as his own.

Ebb and Betty owned the Wing Candy Company in Branson and operated the company along with their daughter for many years. Ebb loved to travel for the company, meeting people and Ebb loved his customers. He still visited them and they still called him long after retirement. Ebb had a big heart and often ministered to those who were sick or in hospitals. Ebb enjoyed singing for the Lord and his home was filled with music many evenings as he and his family gathered around the piano to practice for church. Ebb also enjoyed piddling in the garden and giving away what he grew to those who didn’t have a garden.

Ebb enjoyed people and he enjoyed visiting and any type of gathering. In his last days, he expressed that he was looking forward to seeing a great number of friends and family again in Glory.
