Earnest Wayne Shepard was born July 20, 1952 in Hollister, Missouri. He was the son of Willard Shepard and Myrtle (Owen) Shepard. He attended Hollister Schools and then began service in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Wayne worked as a painter with ACRO Trailers. He also attended Branson Bible Church. In his free time, Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He entered into rest on Friday, August 17 at his home in Hollister.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gene and James.
Wayne is survived by his daughters, Melissa Miller and husband Chris of Branson and Christina Shepard of Hollister; one brother, Glen Shepard of Cedarcreek; three sisters, Rosanna Herbert and husband Bub of Buffalo, Norma Cunningham and husband Kenny of Springfield and Pam Pfrommer of Cedarcreek along with two grandchildren, Blaike and Madison Jones.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening, August 21, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 22 at 1:00 P.M. in Nickerson Cemetery, Kimberling City with Dr. Rev. Rich Toliver officiating.
