E. Geniel (Cronk) Rawlings

Funeral services for Erica Geniel Rawlings will be Thursday, August 1st  at 2:00 P.M. at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson, MO.  Pastor Wayne Ferry will officiate.  Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery.

Geniel was born to Wilbur and Velma (McClease) Cronk on August 14, 1921 in Nevada, Missouri.  She went to rest peacefully in her home on July 23, 2019 at the age of 97.

Geniel married Robert Owen Rawlings on June 19, 1939.  They raised four children, Karen, Terry, Steve and Danny. 

Geniel and Bob retired to their Table Rock Lake home in 1978 and enjoyed families, children and grandchildren.  She loved cooking, gardening, reading, playing cards and her pets.  She was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan.  She was a founding member of the Christian Church in Branson.. They lived a happy life.

Geniel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son Danny and two sisters, Linda and Coral.

She is survived by children, Karen Meldrum of Hollister, Terry Rawlings of Montrose, Colorado, and Steve Rawlings and wife Norma of Hollister. Also by sister, Willa Ballard of Hemet, California; thirteen grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
