Dennis Wolfe was born in Longrun, Missouri on April 19, 1927 to mother Leota and father Orville. Dennis worked for the Branson Cheese Factory, the College of the Ozarks in the Dairy Department, was owner of Wolf’s Riding Stables, Wolf’s Drive-In, a small motel and Wolf’s construction. Later in life, he retired and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loving playing with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leota Noonkester Wolfe and Orville Wolfe; brothers, Emory, Ernest, Lawrence and Albert; sisters, Ella Bell Clayton, Lula Duckworth and Geneva King; son, James Allen Wolfe and grandson Steve Brittain.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Louise; sisters, Helen Collins of Cedar Creek and Jean Herd of Wichita, KS; daughter, Wanda Brittain of Hollister, son, Steve Wolfe of Plentywood, MT, son, Joe Wolfe of Hollister, daughter, Pam Scott of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Chasity, Jamie, Cain, Ashley, Lindsey, Josh, Mollie, Logan, and Kodi; great grandchildren, River, Kavern, Forest, Achilles, Kendra, Erin, James, Kourtney, Austin, Ruby, Tayah, Noah and Lily and one great-great grandson.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with burial to follow in Cedar Valley Cemetery, Hollister.
