Dallas Hoover Obituary

Dallas Kent Hoover was born on February 24, 1935 in Butler, Missouri.  He was the son of Hugh Hoover and Nona Pearl (Hooper) Hoover.  He proudly served in the United States Army.  On March 20, 1964 he married his sweetheart, Barbara J. Hansen.  Dallas lived most of his life in Butler.  He worked assembling electronics on government projects for Bendix which later became Honeywell.  Upon retirement, he and Barbara moved to Hollister.

Dallas was a member of Cove Creek Christian Church in Ballard, Missouri. Dallas could find contentment wherever he was.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping and he also liked being at home, working around the house.  He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, uncle and friend who will be missed.

Dallas entered into rest on December 6, 2018 in Branson at the age of 83.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Kevin Hoover and one brother, Francis Hoover.

Dallas is survived by his wife, Barbara Hoover of Hollister; son, Roger Hoover of Hollister; two granddaughters and three grandsons; three great grandchildren along with his brother-in-law James Hansen of Butler, one niece and two nephews.

Memorial services will be Monday, December 10, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory with full military honors by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 913 and the United States Army.  Burial will be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler.
