Cathy Jo Lair

Cathy Jo Lair was born on April 5, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Willard J. Cave and Doris E. (Anderson) Cave.  Cathy lived in Hollister but had resided in Oldfield and Sparta where she operated a consignment shop.  She worked in home health care with Integrity and cared greatly for those she worked with.  She was a member of Grant Avenue Baptist Church in Springfield.  Cathy enjoyed many things including going camping, being on the lake and entertaining friends.  She adored her great grandson and loved spending time with him.

Cathy entered into rest on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield at the age of 71.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Todd Lair and brother, Mike Cave.

Cathy is survived by her son, John Lair of Springfield; brother, Dennis Cave and wife Theresa of Springfield; sister, Pam Roberts of Springfield; grandchildren, Shannon Lair, Tarra Lair and Dalton Lair and great grandson Kayden Gilbert.

Graveside services for Cathy will be held, Friday, November 1, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
