Graveside services for Beverly Jean Steele, 79, of Branson, will be held Saturday, Nov. 16 at 1:00 PM at the Mountain Grove Cemetery, Branson. Keith Steele will officiate. Mrs. Steele entered into rest on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
Mrs. Beverly Steele was born July 10, 1940 in Macon, Missouri. She was the daughter of Rex and Hazel (Magers) Stanfield. She had attended school in Atlanta, Missouri, from which she graduated high school. She married the love of her life, Charles Steele on Dec. 20, 1962 in Atlanta, Mo. They had celebrated fifty-six years together.
Beverly attended Northeast Missouri State University for one to two years, then attended the beauty school in Kirksville, Mo. Beverly and Charles moved to the Branson area from Independence, Mo. about fourteen years ago. She attended First Baptist Church in Branson. Beverly enjoyed NASCAR and country music (Marty Stuart Family show). She enjoyed working with children and was a mentor to several students. Beverly was Director of Childcare for the Ft. Osage School District.
Beverly was a great example of God’s love and displayed it through her love for her family, grandchildren and people.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Charles Steele, one son and his wife Keith and Sandra Steele and two grandchildren Caleb and Kimberly.
