Beverly O. Dickens, 71, Branson, passed away June 1, 2018 in Branson, Mo. Visitation will be Monday evening 5-7 PM at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson. Burial will be held at a later date.
Beverly Olene Dickens born August 2, 1946 in Jackson, Michigan. She was the daughter of Lyle and Frances (Hardy) Ely. Beverly attended the public schools in Jackson, Michigan.
Beverly married Jerry Dickens on December 18, 1986 in Jackson, Michigan. She worked for the Grey Hound bus line where she was a cashier.
Beverly had lived in the Branson area for fifteen years moving from Michigan. She was baptized at the Faith Life Church in Branson. Beverly enjoyed listening to Elvis music, going to casinos, cooking and her family remembers her as a “Clean Freak”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry Dickens, brothers Lyle Ely and Pat Ely, sister Mary Walkowicz, granddaughter Samantha Lynn Fisher and her son-in-law Kenneth Humphrey.
Beverly is survived by her sons Richard Garey (Lisa) of Georgia; David Crowe-Garey (Tommy) of Michigan; Allen Fisher of Michigan; Russell Fisher (Jackie) of Michigan; daughters Lisa Humphrey and Maryjane Fox both of Branson; brothers William Ely and Roger Ely both of Michigan and Mike Ely of Branson; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
