Barbara Martin

Barbara Martin, 93, passed away June 5, 2019 at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri.  Barbara was born November 13, 1925 to Paul and Mary Trohanovsky in Conemaugh, Pennsylvania.  She was the beloved wife of the late Valerian Martin, Jr.  They married June 18, 1948 in New York City, New York. 

Barbara lived with her family in New York City and Roswell, New Mexico before moving to Branson.  She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and a devout praying woman.  Barbara enjoyed singing and listening to music from the WWII era and polka music. 

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Ann Martin of Branson, MO; a son, Val Martin, III of Port Jervis, NY; a grandson, Daniel Michael Martin of Port Jervis and a nephew, Tom Trohanovsky, Jr. and wife Ann Marie of Brook Park, OH.  She was also predeceased by her brother, Tom Trohanovsky, Sr.

Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson with Father Joseph Kelly officiating.  Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:30 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
