Ada Marie Mangan

Ada Marie Mangan was born November 12, 1935 in Pyatt, Arkansas to Sam & Dovie (Buie) Rogers.  She grew up in and attended school in Forsyth, MO.  Marie married Charles H. Bearden in 1951 and they were blessed with three children.  After that marriage ended, Marie wed Ron Mangan on April 14, 1965 in El Paso, Texas and they were blessed with a daughter.  Marie lived in Houston from 1966 to 1988 and developed many close friendships during her time there.  She moved back to Missouri 32 years ago to be near her family.

Marie will be remembered for her many attributes and talents, including gardening, fishing, hosting parties, entertaining, sewing and preparing delicious dishes.  She loved her family dearly and will be sorely missed.

Marie entered into rest on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Ozark, MO.

She is survived by her children, Howard “Buck” Bearden of Branson, Steve Bearden (Tammy) of Branson West, Geneva Marie Hoffpauir (Jeffrey) of Beebe, AR and Lisa Thompson (Kevin) of Bruner, MO; brothers, Eldo Rogers and Sammy Rogers both of Forsyth; sister, Geneva Stice of Branson; step-mother, Jane Walker of Bradleyville; ten grandchildren and 15 great-granchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Monday, January 20, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral service time at 3:00 P.M. all at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson.  Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
