Ruby Bernita Humphrey

Ruby Bernita Humphrey was born September 29, 1926 in Downing, Missouri and passed from this life June 11, 2017 at Forsyth Nursing and Rehab in Forsyth, MO.  Ruby was the daughter of Fred and Artie Mann and attended school in Granger, MO.  She married Herschel Humphrey on June 24, 1946 in Kirksville, MO.  After marriage, she and Herschel lived for a time in Idaho and Illinois before moving to Fairfield, IA in 1959.  They moved to Rockaway Beach, MO in 1983.  Ruby was a homemaker and her main focus was always her family.  She enjoyed crocheting and cooking and everyone was always welcome at her table. 

Ruby is survived by three children, Kevin Humphrey of Rockaway Beach, MO, Reta Marks of Forsyth, MO and Judy Wyble (Bill) of Bowling Green, MO.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, Tammy Barnett (fiancé Chad) of Hollister, MO, Tony Greenfield of Fairfield, IA and Dena Nordyke (Russell) of Danville, MO, seven great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. 

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, her parents and one brother, Floyd Mann.
