Michael Allen Plott

Michael Allen Plott was born on February 24, 1964 in Branson, Missouri.  He was the son of Harold Dean Plott and Sharon Kay (White) Plott.  Michael graduated from Hollister High School in 1982.  He was the store manager of Herrman Lumber in Hollister and had been employed there for almost 25 years.  On September 9, 1997, Michael married Barbara Jean Graupner in Key West, Florida.

Mike and Barbara shared a wonderful life together.  Mike loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren, Madelyn and Makenna Dimetroff, and Olivia Dadivas-Plott.  He loved cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, MU Tigers, and he enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.

Mike passed away at his home in Hollister on Wednesday morning, February 21, 2018 at the age of 53. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Plott.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Plott of Hollister; his three children, Jeffrey Plott and companion Rheana Dadivas of Springfield, Amanda Dimetroff and husband Tanner, and Lauren Plott of the home, all of Hollister; grandchildren, Madelyn, Makenna and Olivia; his father, Harold Plott of Hollister, his brother, Mark Plott and wife Amy of Hollister and sister, Sherri Calovich and husband Mark of Hollister, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday evening, February 25, 2018 from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory.  Funeral services will be Monday, February 26 at 11:00 A.M. at Victor Baptist Church, Branson with Pastor Kenny Robinette officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
