Florence C. Nivens

Florence C. Nivens, 89 of Branson passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Shepherd of the Hills Living Center in Branson. Burial will be held at a later date at The National Veteran's Cemetery, in Springfield, Mo.  Arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.

Florence C. Nivens was born on December 15, 1927 in St. John's Newfoundland to James and Amelia (Drodge) Newell.  She married Roy Lee Nivens and they were blessed with two sons.  Florence was an arrhythmia tech and volunteered for over 20 years at Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, and eight siblings.

Florence is survived by her two sons and their spouses.  Frank and Melodi Nivens of Branson, Jimmy and Rebecca Nivens  of Ozark and three grandchildren Christopher, Rinette and Samantha.
